An Overview.

We offer a range of RoSPA Ofqual and Accredited courses, which include:

• Advanced and defensive courses
• Younger drivers – Post test driver training
• Fleet Driver assessment and training
  

We can also facilitate driver training for the following:

• Motorway training
• Confidence training
• For drivers who are returning to driving following a break
• For newer drivers who wish to increase their experience and skills
• Vehicle Familiarisation
• EV driver training
  

Post-test Training.

• Young drivers will receive advanced training in a similar style and format to their learner driving training experience. This will aid the learning experience through familiarity, whilst facilitating enhanced skills and knowledge beyond learner training
• The focus of the training is on the demographics associated with risk-related factors: high-risk young drivers and high-risk rural locations
• Training is targeted to attend to, and mitigate, the high-risks factors associated with the driver’s risk profile
  

Commercial Clients.

Training for this cohort is a little diHerent. The ‘end client’ (that is, the person who has the on-road training) is often not the person who decides the training is required. However, not only will our training assist with helping the driver to improve, from a commercial perspective, but your business will also benefit.

• Potentially lowering your fleet insurance cost through demonstrating your investment in safe and efficient drivers

Bespoke Workshops.

We can facilitate bespoke workshops for up to 8 clients in any one session at our Training Centre. We offer standard packages of training, should you have a need to address one of the various foundation skills. Alternatively, we can tailor the training to suit your specific requirements.

Target Outcomes:

• Raise awareness of the need for training to reduce risk and save lives.
• Educate driving instructors in the need to prompt post-driver training.
• Deliver high quality training to high-risk road users.
• Educate parents and/or caregivers of the need for further training for young adults in their care/family.
• Help support the emergency services in reducing high-risk road collisions.
• Help reduce the financial impact of road collision to taxpayers.
• Make our road network safer to use.
  

Half, Full Day or 2-day Courses.

If you want to train a cohort of you company’s drivers at the same time, then our half day option tends to work best. It can be more cost effective per head, and there is less downtime for your business. You may wish to book one driver in the morning and one in the afternoon – there is no additional charge for this, and it works well for business clients.

If you’re a private or fleet client and want more than a half-day training session, we offer 1-day Defensive or 2-day Advanced RoSPA accredited training as well. As a private client, a half-day may be an ideal option if you simply need a short refresher. A full-day training would be more suited if you or a driver has a specific issue that you wish to address, such as limited confidence or specific complaints about their driving. These options are RoSPA Ofqual regulated or accredited courses.

Reports After Training.

Each client undertaking driver training with us will receive a detailed driving report following their training session. This gives an insight into the driver’s baseline skills, what was covered on the day, how the driver has improved and to what extent and in what areas.

This lets you know the level of skill and competency a driver has and what they also need to work on. Each report produced is fully personalised and documented with its own unique verification number so you can check back for an original copy with us, if required. This is particularly useful for employers who has requested an employee

undertakes driver training. You will also receive a fully accredited certificate as evidence that you have completed the course successfully, which can be kept as evidence of your CPD.
